ah, embarrasment.
i am not embarassed much, but i have had my moments.
like the time i said that i was retarded in a room full of the mentally disabled.
or the time i said "that girl looks alot like a guy" right in front of her father.
or all of the times i threw up on the girl that i liked.
last night, embarassment happened to me once again.
i have a friend named dallas.
dallas is really cool.
dallas is also really feminine.
in fact, no one is really sure of his sexual preference.
(i think he is straight)
dallas happens to be a big fan of madonna.
last night he asked me if i liked madonna.
i replied with a simple no.
but then he asked why.
and the very first thing out of my mouth was
"the only kind of guys that like madonna are...."
now, i was about to say gay, but that was when i realized that i am talking to a guy that likes madonna.
if he is gay it wouldnt be a big deal
but if hes not, it will be a problem
(dallas is really self concious)
"are what?" he asked
"uh...nothin, nothing." i replied
"no really what"
"just forget it, man."
"guys that like madonna are punks, right?"
"yeah,...uh...thats it.
so all in all it was not an embarassing moment, but dang if it was close.
