"haiku week is here.
but relax, its not that hard,
simply count fingers."
yes, today marks day one of what i hope will be a very succesful haiku week.
success being determined soley by how many of you wonderful readers participate.
so, in order to ensure success, here is an incredibly brief reminder of what a haiku actually is.
a haiku is a short three lined poem consisting of five, seven, five syllables respectively. of course there is more to what a traditional haiku would entail, but for the purpose of accessibility we shall leave it at that.
i look forward to reading!
