its much like the "who called shotgun? i called shotgun" argument that happens everytime they ride in my car.
josh theorizes that since he was here earlier, he still has rights to the comfortable part of the couch.
zak thinks that since he placed his drink by that specific part of the couch and claimed his temporary residence of it, it belongs to him.
"listen," i say "its much like manifest destiny. where the indians here first? sure. but did they claim the land? no. thats why we got to come in and just take over. a spoken declaration overrides an unsaid assumption of ownership."
