almost every one on my favorites list posted a quizilla quiz result on their last entry.
bizarre.
poetry night last night was....
dramatic
bizarre
a lot of people showed up.
a lot of people read.
a wonderful artist painted.
then someone read a poem about someone else in the room.
i swear that i hear the word immature used at least ten times in the aftermath that ensued.
is one immature for writing a poem about a relationship that never happened?
(i've done that)
is one immature for knowingly reading it in front of her?
(done that as well0
is one immature for getting offended by a poem that "wasnt directly about her"
(to my knowledge no one has written a poem about me. other than paul. and thats different)
i think that the only thing that is immature about all of this is the naivety that makes one think that they can judge another persons level of maturity.
on a unrelated note, there was this poet last night who looked like a mix between christopher walken, a beatnik, a cowboy and a satanist.
and he read like the narrator for those science films you have to watch in high school.
