thanks for all your e-mails.
its amazing (or perhaps not) how we all want similar things.
all of us hate cheesy church marquees. none of us desire comdemnation, or cold religious obligation.
we all want to belong. to know that we can truly love, and be loved in return. we desire to be an important part of the community. we need a place that is truly a santctuary.
and if i may add something else, i would say that above all we need the truth.
a church that isnt true is a waste of a perfectly good sunday morning.
a life not governed by truth is vain.
we need to realize that truth cannot, by nature, be subjective or relevant
if something is true to me, but not to you, than it is reduced to simply a matter of opinion, or to something of little consequence.
our faith must be more than just an opinion.
it needs to be true.
the only way that all religions can be equal, is if they are equally wrong.
if christianity is not the truth, then get me out of it!
i wish i could expound on this more and make it more clear, but we have such little space here in diaryland.
if my stance on truth offended you, than good, offense makes us think.
